AN OXYMORON

Heck, some folks say our president is out of touch with the English language. Not so! He enhances it with invention, which is as important to communicating as it is to technology.

Americans have embraced the oxymoron in our speaking with "honest lawyer" and "political correctness," to name a couple. So G. Dubya has become our Cajun chef of language and "kicked it up a notch." He invented the oxymoron's oxymoron during his campaign and proved it with his tax rebates: Da, Daaah, Social Security Trust Fund. Social, as in the best interest of society? Secure as a piggy bank! Trust? You've got to be kidding. Fund, like in credit card, including high interest payments.
