Original Msg:

If we are doing so well reducing deficits to $107 billion (1996) and $70 billion (1997) how come we are hitting the debt ceiling of $5.5 trillion this calendar year??? It means an increase to the debt of $600 billion in 2 years ( you do remember the shutdowns in November of '95 when the debt was $4.9 trillion, do you not)?

How come you never, never, never ask anyone from federal government---how they intend to pay down the debt? Is this a more and more obvious collusion on your part???
