Is it unusual for Washington to have a three-to-one ratio of women to men? After all, look what the Roman Senate did. They had orgies all over the place. We don't throw young women into volcanoes or anything like that. Our women interns are all legal age. You don't see any homely girls sitting behind our Senators do you? Attracted to the power elite, these women are all hired for their minds, of course. Who says Congress is a den of passion?

Fox News asks if it's unusual for the media to devote 22 hours a day to the Chandra Levy mystery, then answers itself saying that it's a high profile case and deserves the attention. They still cover the other news. Maybe, Chandra Levy went off to help the farmers at Klamath Falls. Maybe, she just couldn't hang around to watch Bob Schulz starve to death. Maybe, the motorcyclist took her to the hills of Jamaica to raise marijuana for her boss and friends. Maybe, she got tired of watching her beloved rob American workers of more than $300 million a day in entitlement money. Maybe, her father or grandmother is on Social Security. Tune in tomorrow, the comedy news network (CNN) might cover these questions, depending on the latest leads or leaks, of course.

Monday, Fox News was wondering how much attention the Washington police were devoting to solving the Levy case when they seem to be spending much of their time talking to the news media. How's that for irony?

Pedro Horowitz, a farmer from Mexico, called in to say that he thought FBI, CIA or Secret Service friends of Chandra made her a complete new identity and spirited her away to some remote country where no one will recognize her. That's why she left everything at home. The parents know this but want to expose Gary. Others just say that Gary should fess-up and take what's coming to him. Still others feel it's terrible that everyone is picking on him while the real madman goes free.

(Interruption for Breaking News) Senator Trent Lott is holding a conference and suggesting that Gary Conit resign his seat in Congress. Mostly, Senator Lott wants everyone to believe that this sort of reprehensible behavior is unique to Mr. Condit and should not reflect on the other members of Congress who are all good guys working hard to keep America beautiful. Making it rain, and so forth.

Searching the "temp" files in Chandra's laptop computer showed that she spent time looking into Kingle Mansion in Rock Creek Park shortly before her disappearance. A second search of the Washington area park uncovered bones. Chandra had bones. Therefore, about two hours were spent on this subject and what orthopedic specialists and anthropologists might do to determine if these are Chandra's bones or even human.

The Kennedy clan is strangely silent on the subject, but others are suggesting that nearby lakes and rivers, like the Potomac, be dragged for sunken cars or motorcycles.

Other parents with missing daughters are complaining that so much attention is being given to the Chandra Levy case. Most want the same kind of media attention given to their missing children. But some realize that they're probably better off without it. If whoever is responsible for the disappearance of their children is caught, there's a better chance he'll be punished properly.

What do you think will happen if Gary Condit is proven, dead to rights, to have murdered or hired someone to murder Chandra Levy? Do you think he'll be punished like some common street criminal? Do you think members of the Oligarchy are above the laws they create? Will Washington's crafty legal teams come up with stories proving Gary was really the victim or couldn't help himself? Will they play the AC-DC card? Haven't we heard all this before? It's starting to sound like the Marquis de Sade or Caliguala.
