After all, we have a government that cheats its citizens out of a good part of their retirement and health care money while condemning free-enterprise companies like Enron for doing the same. We have mothers who drown their children in cars and bathtubs. Trained fighting dogs that eat people while we look down our noses at countries that train chickens to fight. Millionaire athletes and performers who shoot their chauffeurs or take so many drugs they can no longer perform. In our most densely populated city, if you haven't been mugged at least twice, you are not considered a native. Kids that shoot each other in school. Adults that go postal and shoot up brokerage houses or mangle hockey coaches. A Georgia crematorium that takes money then just throws bodies in the woods. Priests who molest children then, when the kids grow up and have the nerve to stand together, pay them off with funds collected in church. Missing interns who had liaisons with their married bosses. An Atlanta bomber we can't find in our own North Carolina woods. A hit-and-run driver who left the victim stuck in her windshield for two days until he died. A black man who was chained and dragged behind a Texas pick-up truck until dead. A gay man who was pilloried on a fence. A compound full of religious oddballs that were gassed and burned while Army tanks, federal snipers, and helicopters kept them in and the fire department out. Cradling an infant in her arms, a mother was shot in the head by a marksman sniper of our gun control agency. Farmers who had the government build a dam with taxpayer money and then lost their irrigation water to preserving a species of fish. A sue-em society with more lawyers than every other nation of the world combined. Lawsuits by passengers left sitting for hours on the tarmac superseded and nullified by even longer time now spent just to get on the plane. Sufficient knowledge of election ins-and-outs to influence not only our own elections but also those in other countries like Russia and Nicaragua. Plans to assassinate leaders of other nations, with some like Chile already carried out, while our own responsible leaders claim immunity from charges leveled by that country. More and more revelations of such plans as the time limits on files protected by national security are released. An idea of freedom that is falsely believed to be bestowed and protected by our elected officials. Nepotism in Oligarchies from Washington to Hollywood. Primary industries that invent, produce, and stockpile enough weapons of mass destruction to blow up the entire world several times over and probably throw the earth off its axis, besides owning and supervising our news media. Biologicals in the hands of our own military who have somehow become scientific laboratories developing antidotes. A good many Christian citizens who would just as soon "nuke 'em" to protect our "national interests." And plans for a New World Order based on the premise that if you can screw Americans, then you can do it to the rest of the world.
